Gifford Fire

INCIDENT OVERVIEW

All remaining Evacuation Warnings have been lifted.

As of 8:00 AM on 8/29/2025, the fire has burned approximately 131,614 acres and is 97% contained. 

Management of the Gifford Fire transitioned on 8/19/2025 from Unified Command to Complex Interagency Incident Management Team 8, which assumed leadership from Team 5 and CalFire.

REPORT YOUR DAMAGES

The County Office of Emergency Services is collecting agricultural damage information from private property owners and business owners to understand the extent of the damages caused by the Gifford Fire. 

NOTE: This is not an application for financial assistance. However, if there is extensive damage, Individual Disaster Assistance may become available.
